| Receive Michigan's Habitant Heritage, the Society's quarterly journal, published in January, April, July, and October. Our journal features articles on Michigan French-Canadian history, culture, and genealogy. We publish transcriptions of original records, family histories, bibliographic, and methodological articles. | |
| Have the opportunity and pride of seeing your writings published in the journal. Members are encouraged to contribute articles for publication in the journal. | |
| Be entitled to have up to four free queries per year printed in the journal. | |
| Be welcomed to attend our regularly scheduled meetings in which topics relating to French-Canadian genealogy, history, and culture are presented. | |
| Receive a discount on selected items the Society offers for sale. For example, we occasionally sell French-Canadian history and genealogy books at our annual workshop. | |
| Be able to exchange messages with other members using the Society's email list. |
To become a member send a check to the address indicated on our membership application. Please print and fill out this form. Let us know if you have any special skills that you believe would help the Society. To see and print the Adobe Acrobat file you will need to download and install the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
The membership fee is $25.00 USA or $30.00 USA for non-USA residents. Please pay your dues promptly. You must complete our membership application. Members who renew after the postmark date of 15 January must pay an additional $5.00 USA late fee.
Membership is on a calendar-year basis, January through December. Memberships received after 15 October will be effective for the upcoming year.
