[BHC] DPL fee charge publicity this weekend

Hi folks,

I will be running a Genealogy Tent at the St. Andrew's Society of Detroit 
Highland Games to be held at Greenmead, Livonia this Saturday. In a prominent 
place on the table will be an explanation of the new non-resident fees for using 
the Burton Collection. I will be available all day to explain to people who 
stop by the tent why we feel the fee for access/use of the collection is unfair 
- especially in view of the current communities that are "exempt" from paying 
the $100 a year or $10 daily fee. Thousands will attend the games. I hope most 
of them will stop by the Genealogy Tent and hear my explanation about why 
access to the room at Burton does NOT mean access to the collection, and does not 
give a non-resident the ability to send down a call slip without paying the 
fee. Maybe we can recruit some more to our cause. I will have the Advocate web 
site information available.
