Heirloom Photograph Preservation and Restoration Workshop

J. D. Small of J. D. Small Studios shows you the proper way to preserve
those precious family photographs and offers techniques for restoring faded
or damaged photos.

>From taking photos with a toy camera to taking care of your heirloom photos,
the Michigan Historical Museum has a slate of programs and workshops held in
conjunction with Michigan's Family Album--the museum's latest special
exhibit. Michigan's Family Album is a special exhibit filled with images of
Michigan life during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Presented by
the Michigan Historical Museum in partnership with Dave Tinder, the
University of Michigan's Clements Library and David B. Walters.

The Michigan Historical Museum is located inside the Michigan Library and
Historical Center, 702 West Kalamazoo Street, Lansing. The museum and
visitor parking are on the north side of Kalamazoo Street, two blocks east
of M. L. King Jr. Boulevard. Admission and weekend parking are free. Here's
