Folks,

FYI, though I suspect most of us are not fluent in the language of our
ancestors, but someone out there might want to participate.

Subject: Voice Recordings for French Canadians

Hello,

My name is Mariana Melzak and I'm a Project Manager at Nuance Communications
Inc.

My company Nuance, develops leading Speech Recognition engines for
cellular phone manufacturers such as Motorola, LG, Siemens etc. and for
vehicle manufactures such as Ford, GM etc.
As part of developing our speech recognition engines, we record a
variety of speakers according to a demographic segmentation. Our data
collection team will travel to Detroit to record USA Native Speakers and
French Canadian Native speakers in a car environment.

Each speaker will be requested to read out loud in English a list of
numbers, commands and
names , for about 1.5 hours.
We give a reward of 100$ cash for each recording.

If you could help me out getting in contact with French Canadians that live
in Detroit and the area, will be more than helpful.

Please contact me for more details or if you have any questions threw this
email.

Thanks for the attention.

Best Regards,

Mariana Melzak
