I meant to reply to this earlier.
There is a microfilm copy of the American Fur Company ledger at the Burton
Historical Collection. You have to consult the manuscript catalog near the
balcony stairway to find the citation. This ledger lists the names of many
voyageurs and clerks who worked for the American Fur Company in the Mackinac
area. The original ledger is at the American Fur Company museum on Mackinac
Island, I think it is called the Stewart House. I saw it on display just a
few weeks ago. Hope this information helps.
