John P. DuLong, president of FCHSM, will speak, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30  
a.m.,  at the Local History Conference at Wayne State University in  Detroit.  
His topic will be "Developments in French-Canadian Genealogical  Research."  If 
this is the only conference you will be going to, it is  possible you will not 
have to pay to attend.  Indicate that you are a guest  of the DSGR.  However, 
if you plan to attend other sessions, you will have  to pay the registration 
fee.
