I've been aware of this Québec National Holiday all day. My pocket book calendar even highlights it. And I didn't buy the calendar in Canada. We're coming up in the world!
I'll be watching my link to French Canada tonight on Channel 54 TV, courtesy of the antenna on the roof of my house that brings the signal in loud and clear. It should be a gala event.

st1\:*{behavior:url(#default#ieooui) } Hello Folks,
I just wanted to wish all of you a happy St-Jean-Baptiste day. A hundred years ago this would be a special day for our ancestors in Michigan celebrated with parades, picnics, and bonfires. It was, and still is in Québec, the national holiday for French-Canadians. It is too bad we do not celebrate it anymore. But if you have a Québec flag, why not display it today.
