I thought I'd share an upcoming event Cindy Leutz and I are planning at the 
Little Bear Arena in St. Ignace the end of summer. 

In coordination with the Pow wow and Rendezvous Weekend in St. Ignace (August 
23-24), we will be hosting our annual genealogy gathering at the Little Bear 
arena on Friday, August 22nd from 9 to 5 pm. Researchers from around the Great 
Lakes gather to share information with each other, have lunch and talk genealogy 
in general. We are a group of Native, First Nations and Metis researchers, some 
professional, some for fun (or obsession!). There is no cost and the gathering 
is open to all who wish to attend. 

Bring your research and/or questions! We're looking forward to a fun weekend!
