The next meeting of the French-Canadian Heritage Society of Michigan will be
held

Saturday, November 14 at the Mount Clemens Public Library, 150 Cass Avenue,

Mount Clemens, Michigan.



The meeting starts at *11:00 a.m*.  John DuLong will present “Tracing Your
Ancestor

Who Worked on the Railroad”.



Light refreshments will be served.



*Please remember to bring your ballot and vote for the 2010 FCHSM Slate of*

* Officers!*  This ballot was included in the mailing of the journal,
printed on bright

green paper.



*This meeting is also your last chance to pay your 2010 dues in person
before*

* the January 1 deadline.*  If your dues are not paid at this meeting you
will need to

submit them by mail, postmarked by January 15, 2010.



The January meeting will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.,
weather

permitting.  This is our annual Get Acquainted meeting.  Please bring your
charts, records

for translation or other items to share with the group. Suzanne Boivin
Sommerville will

repeat Part I of her presentation “Geography and Genealogy: Mapping Your
Ancestors.”



Saturday, March 13, 2010 – 11:00 a.m. Mount Clemens Public Library.  Bring
your

research to share.  Suzanne Boivin Sommerville will repeat Part II of her
presentation

“Geography and Genealogy: Mapping Your Ancestors.”



French-Canadian Heritage Society of Michigan meetings are open to the
public.  For
