It sounds like the break up of the genealogical collection is a done deal.
They want us to hold off on protesting until they get more information.  I
see a bleak future for the Library of Michigan.

 

As French Canadians, we should protest getting rid of non-Michigan
genealogy.  How will you be able to study the origin of French-Canadians
families in Michigan without access to the Québec resources?  

 

Frankly, given the dismal economy in Michigan, I do not see how we can turn
this situation around.
